Job Description

A warm, easy-going and close-knit family based in Roseville, NSW is seeking an experienced, proactive and nurturing nanny to support their two young children, aged 4.5 and 2.5 years. The family enjoys spending time together, maintaining active routines and creating a fun, loving environment for their children. Mum is currently managing a long-term chronic illness and physical disability and requires practical support with the children's daily care and routines. Upcoming surgeries will also mean periods where the nanny will take on a greater level of responsibility, even while Mum is at home. The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys becoming part of family life and can confidently step into a supportive role, helping to create consistency, structure and fun for the children.

Job Responsibility

  • Planning engaging activities and outings
  • Taking the children to swimming lessons and sports activities
  • Kindergarten drop-offs and pick-ups
  • Supporting meals, bath time and bedtime routines
  • Encouraging outdoor play and minimal screen time
  • Managing two children with different personalities and developmental needs

  • Assisting with behaviour guidance using calm, positive and consistent approaches

Requirements

  • Childcare qualifications preferred (minimum Diploma highly regarded)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Full driver's licence with a safe driving record (Family car available for nanny to use whilst at work)
  • Confident swimmer and comfortable supervising children in a family pool during summer
  • Strong communication skills
  • Non-smoker
