Job Description:

A conscious, nature-connected family in Windang, Wollongong NSW is seeking a warm, experienced and committed nanny to support their two boys (Aged 5 and 6 yrs) with homeschooling and daily life. This is a beautiful opportunity for someone who genuinely loves children, values emotional connection, and enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting and assisting with homeschooling
  • Homework guidance
  • Taking the boys outdoors and engaging in nature-based learning
  • Transporting children to activities (driving required)
  • Encouraging active play, swimming and physical movement
  • Preparing clean, organic meals (breakfast, lunch and meal prep, with occasional dinner preparation)
  • Laundry, errands and daily cleaning
  • Ensuring the home is reset and tidy at the end of each day

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience working as a nanny or in a childcare related role
  • Experience with homeschooling or educational support
  • Current Working with children's check
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (or willingness to refresh)
  • Non Smoker
  • Full Drivers Licence and clean driving record and own car
  • Comfort around pets (family has two dogs)

Nice to have:

  • Spanish and English speaking
  • Musical ability
  • Confidence in swimming and engaging the children in physical activities
