As Team Leader Logistics Inbound at DocMorris, you are responsible for cost-efficient operations within your department, where the customer always comes first. In our international organization, located directly on the border between Heerlen and Aachen, you will ensure the perfect coordination of the flow of goods. Your dedication ensures that the foundation of our logistics — goods receiving — functions flawlessly.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the correct and timely unloading and storage of goods in the high-bay warehouse
Lead from the floor as a working foreman and directly support team members in their execution
Plan internal transport and optimize processes to prevent bottlenecks and increase productivity
Guarantee compliance with all relevant work instructions, safety protocols, and quality standards
Act as a central sparring partner for departments such as Outbound, Purchasing, and Quality Management
Requirements:
MBO or HBO (vocational or applied sciences) level of professional and intellectual ability, preferably supplemented with leadership experience in logistics
hands-on leader who enjoys getting your hands in the mud and serves as an example for the team
good command of Dutch, German, or English
willingness to work in a 2-shift system, including Saturdays and Sundays
thorough knowledge of warehouse management systems such as SAP and MS Office
