The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with company, airport, and customs regulations. You will lead and support the logistics team, maintain stock accuracy, uphold health and safety standards, and ensure timely deliveries to stores. This role plays a key part in safeguarding stock, ensuring compliance, and supporting excellent product availability for customers.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving deliveries, stock handling, and dispatch
Ensure accurate stock management, raising and resolving discrepancies promptly
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment in line with health and safety requirements
Lead, train, and support the logistics team to achieve high levels of performance and engagement
Monitor and enforce security procedures for the bonded warehouse and airport operations
Ensure compliance with HMRC and customs regulations, completing all required documentation accurately
Liaise with store teams to manage delivery schedules and stock transfers
Support shift reporting, audits, and operational updates as required
Address and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
Requirements:
Previous supervisory experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations (retail or airport experience desirable)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of health and safety, stock control, and security procedures
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
IT literacy, including use of warehouse or stock systems
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
