The Logistics Supervisor is a key operational leader responsible for end‑to‑end performance across the warehouse, gypsum process, and box building operations. This role drives safe, efficient, and customer‑focused execution by leading people, optimizing processes, and delivering results in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Plant Operations Leader, this position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable shipping performance, strong inventory control, and continuous improvement across 24/7 operations.
Job Responsibility
Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture
Ensure compliance with all plant and role‑specific safety policies
Proactively identify, investigate, and address safety concerns
Own daily logistics, warehouse, shipping, and box building operations
Develop, implement, and manage inventory control strategies
Oversee SAP transactions and systems
Anticipate operational risks and lead business continuity planning
Lead and develop a team of approximately 30 employees
Establish clear expectations, performance metrics, and accountability
Build team capability through training systems
Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment
Drive productivity, quality, and efficiency improvements aligned with TPM principles
Maintain high product quality standards
Partner cross‑functionally with customer service, transportation, sales, and regional planning teams
Maintain strong working relationships with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or a related industrial environment
Prior people leadership experience strongly preferred
Experience making high‑impact decisions in a fast‑paced, operational setting
Working knowledge of SAP preferred
Familiarity with TPM or continuous improvement systems is a plus
