Job Description:

We are a growing Japanese food manufacturer/distributor and are looking for an individual who is energetic, motivated and has a desire to learn and advance together with our company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receive and offload products, office supplies, and packing materials
  • Pick and assemble customer orders accurately before shipment deadlines
  • Coordinate with the Sales Department regarding sales orders and resolve issues
  • Wrap, label, and stage completed orders for shipment
  • Book trucks for shipment pickup and delivery
  • Load trucks according to sales order documentation and shipping itinerary
  • Assemble online shop orders
  • Monitor inventory and lot control
  • Check inventory, lot, and product data in the ERP system
  • Act as a contact window for shipping companies and freight forwarders
  • Review shipping invoices and confirm with the accounting team
  • Operate warehouse equipment (Narrow-reach forklift and Power Jack) safely
  • Report accidents, product damage, or order discrepancies to supervisors and assist with follow-ups when required

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Able to operate electronic Crown Narrow Aisle Reach Forklift and electronic Pallet Jack
  • proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to lift up to 60 lb
  • Able to work under -20 degree Celsius for short periods of time (5 to 30 mins)
  • Basic understanding of logistic related terms and able to work with freight forwarders for arranging international shipments

Nice to have:

Able to speak and/or understand Japanese or French, and/or understand Japanese food culture would be an asset
