Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist to oversee and optimize logistical operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials. This role is integral to maintaining supply chain accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise daily logistics activities to ensure smooth production and distribution operations
  • Manage and monitor inventory systems to uphold accuracy and reliability
  • Coordinate transportation for raw materials, components, and finished goods as needed
  • Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards throughout all logistical processes
  • Collaborate with procurement, planning, and quality teams to align logistics with business goals
  • Utilize advanced systems to manage workflows, inventory tracking, and reporting
  • Address and resolve logistical challenges to optimize operational efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, particularly in regulated sectors such as biotechnology
  • Support warehouse operations and oversee distribution schedules

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • At least six years of experience in logistics and supply chain management
  • Four to six years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations
  • Extensive hands-on experience with logistics systems, such as SAP
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to handle complex logistics challenges
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in logistics operations
  • Proficiency in inventory management
