Job Description:

Join Our Crew! We're Hiring an Import Logistics Specialist! Want to be part of the global supply chain that keeps the world moving? Looking for a company that values its employees' growth and training? Then climb aboard! We're looking for an Import Clerk to join our maritime shipping family! We are looking for motivated individuals with experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Ocean Imports who thrive in a fast-paced environment to tackle operational duties related to the movement of freight containers via shipping vessels.

Job Responsibility:

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries addressing questions about order status, delivery times, and more
Assist in processing import orders, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete
Track shipments, resolve delays, and communicate updated timelines to customers
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipments
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, order details, and shipment statuses

Requirements:

Based in or around Montreal
Experience with imports is required, preferably from a Freight Forwarder or Shipping line experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multi-task time sensitive issues
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Well organized, ability to handle stress & meet tight deadlines

What we offer:

Full time Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
Hybrid work model, 2 days a week from home
Salary ranges based on experience, 50-55k
