Job Description:

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating air and sea transportation, customs clearance, and the secure handling and storage of materials and equipment. You will ensure that all shipments are delivered on time, comply with regulatory requirements, and are properly stored in company warehouses.

Job Responsibility:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the transportation of materials from ports and airports to project sites worldwide
Manage customs clearance procedures and liaise effectively with customs authorities, carriers, and partners
Ensure timely, efficient, and secure delivery of equipment and materials in line with project requirements
Supervise and optimize warehouse operations, including proper storage, handling, and inventory management of products
Oversee cargo insurance and maintain accurate, up-to-date shipment documentation
Foster close collaboration and maintain clear communication with the Procurement department and project site teams
Monitor material flow to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project schedules
Continuously identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding
Strong knowledge of sea and land transportation procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Excellent knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms 2020
Familiarity with Chartering terms and Letters of Credit
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
