Job Description

Randstad has partnered exclusively with one of the largest logistics companies here in WA. Due to recent growth within the company, our client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Specialist to join their team in Canning Vale. This is a full time contract, and immediate start.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead Site initiatives that generate value, reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Maintain the Site core Engineered Standards activities, audits and reports
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement-based working groups to drive ideas and solutions for the site
  • Influence change within State Logistics Manager, Operations Managers and Warehouse Supervisors
  • Primary Link between State and National Teams for improvement initiatives
  • Be a key and trusted member of the site operations leadership team
  • Work constructively and collaboratively with colleagues and peers within the team
  • Project manage the implementation and execution of process changes within the Warehouse
  • Using data, identify trends and opportunities within the operation that will be shared with the site leadership team
  • Lead the development and implementation of best practice processes and align operations to national preferred methods
  • Track and report on savings generated or costs avoided through process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience in logistics and warehousing
  • SAP experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to multitask
  • Strong coordination, scheduling and monitoring skills
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
