Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for Logistics Specialist Interns to join our Data Centre team. This position will support our procurement and supply chain operations. As an intern, you will participate in our 12-week internship program in our London area Data Centres. You will have the opportunity to join a creative, dynamic team of Logistics Specialists, dedicated to providing our customers with a world class customer service. Be a part of operating the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts
  • Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations
  • Maintain precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
  • Assemble, address, stamp and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials
  • Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
  • Unpack boxes and verify contents of incoming shipments
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted
  • participate in group lifts for 36 pounds or more
  • Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs safely
  • Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance
  • Push or pull heavy objects into position

Requirements

  • In pursuit of a Technical/Bachelors Degree within a relevant technical field such as Supply Chain, Logistics or similar with 2026 or 2027 graduation date
  • English language Proficiency, both written and verbal
  • Must hold the right to work in the U.K. & Ireland before or by the commencement of the internship

  • Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
