Job Description:

The Logistics Site Manager is responsible for coordination of incoming deliveries, unloading operations, laydown and warehouse operations and organizations, open package inspection functions and disbursement operations to installation subcontractors for the project. This position is deemed ‘safety sensitive’ due to the fact that a person improperly performing the essential or marginal functions of the job would constitute a threat to the health or safety of the employee, the employee’s co-workers, and/or the public at large.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordination of shipping schedules from equipment suppliers with installation subcontractors
  • Oversee and coordinate unloading operations of plant equipment
  • Oversee, organize, and coordinate laydown and warehouse locations for received plant equipment
  • Develop and implement Open Package Inspection procedures for receiving plant equipment
  • Oversee loading and disbursement operations of plant equipment for delivery to installation subcontractors
  • Supervise operations of logistics, unloading and disbursement crews
  • Adheres to all company safety and OSHA regulations

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in rigging and unloading operations
  • Must have excellent mathematics, communication, organizational and supervisory skills
  • Ability to prepare a budget
