Job Description:

Join a well-established export business in Brentwood as a Part Time Logistics & Sales Administrator. This hybrid role involves ensuring efficient logistics and sales-administration processes, working closely with hauliers, customers, and the sales team. You'll handle tasks such as updating shipment details, verifying import documentation, inputting sales data, and managing customer and supply chain systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Verifying the accuracy of vital importation documentation and rectifying any discrepancies
  • Requesting PINs and coordinating bookings with hauliers
  • Sending loadout reports and weekly shipment updates to customers, while being the go-to contact for ad hoc inquiries
  • Updating our logistics log with ETAs and confirmed despatch details
  • Providing backup support to the Logistics Manager
  • Managing orders between the business and customers for weekly and monthly programmes
  • Inputting sales data into our systems and Excel, followed by sending confirmations to customers
  • Handling customer-specific sales administration tasks
  • Serving as the point of contact for critical documents and processes, including specs, certifications, trace requests, and industry data reports
  • Overseeing various customer purchasing and supply chain systems
  • Creating and distributing the available stock sheet to the sales team
  • Coordinating the onboarding of new customers and form submissions
  • Packing and couriering product samples
  • Managing the holiday calendar, office supplies, and expense filing

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the industry is ideal
  • Experience in logistics or sales administration
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines
  • Effective and confident communication skills, both formal and informal
  • A flexible work ethic and a team player attitude
