Job Description:

As a Route to Market Manager, you will lead the design, execution, and continuous evolution of Coca-Cola HBC’s route-to-market logistics network, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer service leadership. As a senior member of the logistics leadership team, will shape strategic distribution design, lead transformation initiatives, and enable scalable, sustainable growth across all channels and Egypt’s geographies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and continuously improve the end-to-end route-to-market model — from manufacturing plants to customers — aligning service levels, cost-to-serve, and business priorities.
  • Lead long-term network optimization: fleet strategy, depot footprint, and delivery channel configuration (direct store delivery, distribution partners, rural expansion).
  • Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to translate market strategy into efficient and profitable logistics design.
  • Drive logistics execution excellence across all delivery routes and 3PL partners, ensuring on-time delivery, productivity, and cost optimization.
  • Establish and monitor key logistics KPIs: cost per case/km, drop size, service level, route efficiency, and vehicle utilization.
  • Lead structured reviews and improvement programs focused on cost-to-serve reduction and service enhancement.
  • Champion digital and analytics transformation in route optimization, GPS tracking, and planning systems.
  • Introduce continuous improvement methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma) and foster a culture of performance and accountability.
  • Build RTM capability within the logistics team — developing talent, future leaders, and technical expertise.
  • Act as the key interface between Supply Chain, Commercial, Planning, and Finance for route-to-market decisions.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of logistics design with market ambitions and commercial realities.
  • Manage strategic relationships with external logistics partners to deliver best-in-class service and efficiency.
  • Ensure all route-to-market operations comply with company standards, safety regulations, and sustainability objectives.
  • Drive continuous risk assessment and business continuity planning across all delivery channels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 8–12 years in logistics network design or route-to-market leadership within FMCG or large-scale distribution networks.
  • Proven experience managing multi-channel distribution (traditional trade, modern trade, direct dispatch … etc).
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to convert data into actionable route designs and productivity gains.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills — able to influence across functions and levels.
  • Track record of leading transformation, implementing new systems, or optimizing distribution networks.
  • Commercial acumen and customer orientation — ability to balance cost and service while enabling market growth is preferred.
  • Certification or experience in Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement is a plus
  • Proven success leading teams through change and developing high-performing, engaged teams.

Nice to have:

  • Commercial acumen and customer orientation — ability to balance cost and service while enabling market growth
  • Certification or experience in Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement
What we offer:
  • Bonus incentives
  • Development opportunities
  • Equal opportunity employer
  • Work with iconic brands
  • Supportive team
