Logistics & Purchasing Assistant

• Enter and update purchase orders and inventory data
• Track incoming shipments and follow-up on delivery schedules
• Communicate with warehouses, freight carriers, and vendors
• Prepare shipping and customs documents (BOLs, packing lists, etc.)
• Compare vendor quotes and pricing under guidance
• Assist with freight quotes and carrier scheduling
• Monitor exceptions (delays, shortages, damages) and report issues
• Build and maintain Excel tracking sheets and status reports

• No degree required — experience or interest in logistics, inventory, or purchasing is welcome
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn

• Experience or exposure to logistics, purchasing, supply chain, import/export, inventory, or accounting
• Familiarity with ERP systems or shipping software
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
