Join our team as a Microsoft Data Center Project Manager for Logistics and take on the exciting challenge of managing logistics projects, standalone or as sub projects of larger scale projects for our data center campus in Stackbo, Sweden. In this role, you will collaborate with other project managers, logistics and IT teams, as well as Data Center Management to ensure the success of your projects. As a subject matter expert, you will act as an escalation point, provide support to logistics teams, and play a central role in meeting service delivery objectives by proactively tracking equipment, improving processes, and escalating issues to the appropriate stakeholders. You will also follow safety policies and procedures, participate in root cause analysis of incidents, and build a solid understanding of data center procedures. Job Responsibility:
Plan, schedule, and execute projects and site deliverables in alignment with deployment timelines and required site readiness dates
Take ownership of tracking, monitoring, and escalating deliveries and shipments as needed to meet deadlines
Ensure logistics standard operating procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments are in place and support their creation where required
Act as the Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting escalation management, continuous improvement initiatives, and overall logistics coordination
Own vendor management and communications, including quotes, purchase orders, hour tracking, and scope-of-work discussions
Work closely with General Contractors and take end-to-end ownership of scope of work and required safety documentation to enable safe operations in these areas
Share expertise and provide guidance on standard logistics processes and procedures for preparing, planning, and executing deployments
Support and enable logistics teams through prioritization, guidance, and knowledge sharing to maximize delivery effectiveness
Prioritize data center logistics workloads to maximize timely receiving, replacement, and return merchandise authorization (RMA) handling in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs)

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice to have:
Experience of logistics in hyper scale datacenters or similar work environment
Experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling)
Technical College degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
