Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of program management experience in a shipbuilding, engineering, or related manufacturing field
Strong understanding of contract and specification knowledge
Experience with US Army, US Navy, or US Coast Guard new construction and maintenance programs, purchasing, acquisitions, or contracting is a plus
Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)
Strong human relations, management, leadership, and communication skills

Job Responsibility

Interface with US Army, US Navy, or US Coast Guard personnel on contract compliance, logistics support, and other program-related matters
Determine program objectives, create schedules, manage program budgets, and prepare presentations
Identify areas for improvement to ensure the meeting of logistics products and schedules
Monitor the assigned program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives
Coordinate and schedule all aspects of assigned projects among various disciplines such as provisioning, technical manuals, training, and supply
