Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Procurement, this position aims to analyze, improve, and support the performance of our transportation and procurement operations, while contributing to the development of essential monitoring tools.
Job Responsibility:
Diagnose logistic flows (road transport, depot supply logistics, distribution to customers...)
Contribute to the digital transition project from transport to procurement
Identify improvement opportunities and implement initiatives to achieve them (reduction of empty miles, optimization of delivery schedules...)
Establish performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for operations
Produce regular analyses and recommendations for management
Ensure performance monitoring and agreements with external partners
Monitor and implement technological and regulatory developments in the field of hazardous materials transport in collaboration with the existing team
Perform all other related tasks
Requirements:
College or university degree in logistics, transport, operations management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics optimization in a distribution or transportation environment
Proficiency in data analysis tools (advanced Excel, TMS, Power BI, modeling tools)
French (spoken and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Nice to have:
English (asset)
Knowledge of the energy sector or hazardous materials (asset)
Knowledge of hazardous materials transport regulations (TDG, environmental standards) (asset)
Project management experience (PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification) (asset)
