Job Description:

As a Logistics Planner, you will acquire demand forecasts, plan finished goods requirements, and interface with manufacturing, warehouse, and transportation teams. You will also maintain systems such as SAP APO SNP, develop S&OP inputs, and manage risks while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Acquire demand forecasts for all FG inventory consuming events and translate those forecasts into a network supply plan aligned with the business strategy
Plan finished goods requirements using SAP and APO, including projecting inventory levels, calculating safety stock levels, and reporting deviations
Interface with manufacturing and/or external vendors to coordinate supply, place purchase orders, and track incoming supply
Interface with the warehouse and transportation teams as needed
Develop mid/long term Rough Cut Capacity Plans (RCCP) to maximize manufacturing efficiency while minimizing working capital costs
Maintain systems such as SAP APO SNP to drive appropriate net requirements for production and purchasing of finished goods
Develop monthly S&OP input by working with cross-functional teams and communicating tradeoff impacts of cost and service
Manage key risks and opportunities related to demand variation, capacity, and material constraints
Provide input into longer-term capacity investment and sourcing decisions
Achieve metric targets for supply chain, including inventory, scrap, OTIF/LIFR
Support continuous improvement activities for Network Supply Planning and S&OP processes by analyzing network supply performance
Back up for partnered Network Planner
Perform additional work-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

SAP knowledge (any other ERP system is a plus)
Planning experience (Logistics/Procurement is a plus)
Ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and optimize plans
English mandatory
Proficiency in Excel
Handling multiple planning cycles, urgent changes, and conflicting priorities
