Job Responsibility:
Planning and coordination of logistics concepts, processes and equipment, including the evaluation and management of investments, start-up costs, and logistics space requirements
Planning container cycles, co‑developing new specialized containers while considering investment requirements, and coordinating with all relevant internal departments
Leading project management activities, including logistics leadership to the project team
Managing the overall logistics budget and ensuring all project objectives are met
Designing logistics spaces with a strong focus on ergonomics and occupational safety
Calculating of all relevant inbound logistics costs
Preparing of logistics tenders and specifications, including technical evaluation of bids and ensuring compliance with specifications
Creating and maintaining layout plans (AutoCAD)
Evaluating projects and change requests and assessing feasibility
Setting up new projects in coordination with all relevant interfaces and departments
Preparing and presenting status reports, committee documents, and management overviews, as well as their presentation
Performing special tasks in accordance with qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or a comparable qualification
3–5 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain operations
Proficiency in AutoCad or similar layout planning software are a plus
SAP and strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze the data
Strong English skills
German language skills are a plus
Strong teamwork and communication abilities, along with a high degree of flexibility
Willingness to travel internationally for projects
Ability to work with multiple sites in differing time zones
Nice to have:
Proficiency in AutoCad or similar layout planning software are a plus
German language skills are a plus
