Our client in the transport industry, a very well-known and respected company who is looking for a logistics operations assistant for the logistics team.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the account manager with business operational support
  • Coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery
  • Act as a point of contact between customers, carriers, sales and internal teams
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues or escalations professionally
  • Prepare, review and manage shipping documentation
  • Monitor shipments and proactively address delays or issues
  • Maintain accurate and organized records in internal systems

Requirements

  • Bilingual English and French required to communicate with clients outside of Quebec
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics
  • Ability to manage tracks across North America, including cross-border Canada/US
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong problem solving skills
