Job Description:

The Logistics Operations Manager role involves overseeing complex logistics operations, managing 3PL networks, optimizing costs, ensuring compliance, and driving innovation in warehouse and transportation operations.

Job Responsibility:

Manage multiple warehouses across India and MEA
oversee 3PL providers
optimize storage and throughput efficiency
maintain stakeholder communication and alignment
standardize processes and benchmark performance
drive innovation in transport strategies
implement cost-saving measures
negotiate 3PL contracts
utilize data-driven decision-making for cost optimization
identify and mitigate risks
lead crisis resolution strategies
ensure compliance with customs, GST, and safety regulations
develop SOPs for warehouse operations
mentor and develop regional warehouse and transport teams
collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align strategies
lead logistics improvement projects
monitor KPIs and implement innovations.

Requirements:

10 plus years of experience in a logistic operation, warehouse, transportation
experience in 3PL and warehouse network management
expertise in end-to-end logistics execution, inventory control, inbound/outbound shipments, and warehouse operations
capability to drive innovation in road transport operations leveraging technology and data analytics
skills in cost management, budget ownership, and strategic cost control
risk management experience with proactive and crisis handling abilities
compliance management expertise including customs regulations and road transport safety standards
team leadership and development experience
cross-functional collaboration with finance, supply chain, plant operations, legal, and HR
project management and KPI tracking
knowledge of safety, compliance, and HSE standards.
