Logistics Manager

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing movement and storage of components, parts, and finished products
• Manage and/or participate in cross-functional project teams to design and implement logistics capabilities and strategies
• Identify, maintain, and terminate relationships with contracted vendors
• Manage the organizations compliance with U.S. Customs and C-TPAT regulation
• Ensure the organizations Import Manual is regularly maintained and up-to-date
• Process customs billing and ensure on-time payment
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of Direct Import customer requirements
• Partner with internal and external legal counsel as appropriate
• Establish and measure KPI’s
• Manage third party logistics (3PL) transportation and distribution systems and procedures
• Investigate root cause for problem reconciliation and leads corrective action for complaints
• Develop and implement best practices
• Manage the logistics budget
• Support, enforce and adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, rules and code of conduct

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Five (5) years of international logistics experience in the consumer products industry with progressive responsibility for the transportation and importation of products across international borders
• Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and operations
• Strong knowledge of Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C- TPAT)
• Proficiency in using a Personal Computer (PC) to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong proficiency using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Software (WMS) solutions (i.e., SAP)

• Good communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
