The primary purpose of the Post-Production Logistics Lead Technician role is to direct, manage and coordinate logistics and transportation of products to/from the warehouse and pharmacy. The Post-Production Logistics Lead Technician is responsible to ensure operations are performed in a safe & compliant manner that supports the post-production quality and operations performance goals and objectives.
Job Responsibility:
On the floor leader that will plan, orchestrate, train and even perform daily activities associated with post-production
specifically, logistics
Will be responsible for planning and coordinating all event logistical requirements including transportation of medication to/from warehouse and pharmacy
Ensure training and compliance of all activities performed in the area
Perform timely release of products, staging of products and scrapping of rejected products within pharmacy
Confirm quality in every batch through review and other quality operations performance metrics
Initiate, investigate, and develop robust CAPA for process deviations
determine root cause and execute continuous process improvements to eliminate future deviations
Support logistics activities as required based on request from FSS-East pharmacist (PIC & Staff)
Coordinate with warehouse for pickup/dropoff of IV bag medication once palletized to/from FSSE1 and FSSE2
Work closely with labeling team to manage logistics tech with boxing of packaged product and placement on pallet
Scan finished product into location within pharmacy/warehouse
Support any additional movement regarding 3PL product storage at FSSE2
Proper documentation of forms in all post-production areas
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Leader capable of developing a multi-functional team centered on the Fagron family rules
focused on safety, quality, and production
Post-production experienced and SME level knowledge of visual inspection, product labeling, and fulfillment required
Experience with GDP in a cGMP environment and able to focus on batch related documentation, holding staff accountable for corrections and ensuring quality in every unit
Ability to plan, prioritize, schedule, and communicate production schedule for success – willingness to partner and negotiate on complex activities across the department and other functions is a must
The Post-Production Lead Technician shall be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods of time, and be able to pass a vision test
