Job Description

The Logistics Inventory Control Manager is responsible for assisting with the development of the Project Logistics Plan and for coordination of subcontractor executing the complete scope of the plan of incoming deliveries, unloading operations, laydown and warehouse operations and organizations, open package inspection functions and disbursement operations to installation subcontractors for the project. This position is deemed ‘safety sensitive’ due to the fact that a person improperly performing the essential or marginal functions of the job would constitute a threat to the health or safety of the employee, the employee’s co-workers, and/or the public at large.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordination of shipping schedules from equipment suppliers with installation subcontractors
  • Oversee and assure compliance with unloading operations of plant equipment
  • Oversee, organize, and coordinate laydown and warehouse locations for received plant equipment
  • Develop and implement Open Package Inspection procedures for receiving plant equipment
  • Oversee loading and disbursement operations of plant equipment for delivery to installation subcontractors
  • Supervise operations of logistics, unloading and disbursement subcontractor
  • Adheres to all company safety and OSHA regulations

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in rigging and unloading operations
  • Must have excellent mathematics, communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
  • Highly proficient with computers, including strong Microsoft Excel skills for inventory tracking, reporting, and data analysis
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
