About the Role Reporting to an experienced Logistics Coordinator, you will step into a fast-paced environment designed to alleviate workload pressures across the transport fleet administration desk. This role is initially a 6-month temporary hourly contract, with potential to transition into a longer term position for the right performer.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate, update, and manage subcontractor/cartage operator contract templates utilizing raw inputs from the regional operations teams
Learn and manage Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) data and subcontractor payment summaries within SAP, acting as a critical operational backup
Learn current day-to-day workflows from the permanent coordinators and formally document processes
Review incoming data requests from State-based Regional Logistics Managers. Enforce quality compliance standards by confidently returning incomplete submissions for rectification
Utilize Google Sheets heavily to handle basic data entry, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables to track compliance and fleet workflows
Assist the team in adopting a brand-new online vendor management portal slated for rollout within the next few months.
Requirements
A proven background in Transport Contractor Management, subcontractor logistics, or fleet administration is highly regarded
Solid experience handling contract coordination and processing complex transport claims/payments (SAP or RCTI experience is an advantage)
High proficiency in Google Sheets. Comfort adapting to new online software portals is required
An ability to work unsupervised, navigate unstructured processes, and confidently draft formal procedure documentation
Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to professionally push back on stakeholders to enforce data quality standards.
