The Logistics Engineer is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, tracking and movement of technology equipment, ensuring accurate inventory records, compliance with client and internal processes, and excellent service delivery to internal teams and customers.
Job Responsibility
Managing the receipt, storage, movement and secure disposal of data centre equipment, while keeping inventory, purchase order and asset records accurate and up to date
Following client and ONNEC processes, health and safety requirements, quality standards and escalation procedures to maintain service levels and audit readiness
Working closely with internal teams, customers, couriers and vendors to support projects, site transfers, reporting and continuous service improvement
Requirements
Experience working in a data centre and/or banking IT environment, with knowledge of asset management, ticketing systems and service delivery processes
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise, multitask and work accurately under pressure
Good communication skills, confidence using MS Office, and a professional, flexible approach to working independently and as part of a team
