Job Description

The Logistics & Delivery Specialist plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations and field productivity. This position ensures the accurate handling, organization, transportation, and delivery of tools and materials to job sites while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism. This role directly impacts project timelines, equipment accountability, and overall operational success.

Job Responsibility

  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate pickups and returns following company procedures
  • Maintain professional communication with warehouse staff and field personnel regarding delivery schedules
  • Ensure timely deliveries that support field productivity
  • Receive returned tools and equipment
  • Scan tools in and out of the inventory management system
  • Inspect tools for proper functioning and damage
  • Organize and shelve tools in designated storage locations
  • Stage materials and equipment for upcoming deliveries
  • Safely load, unload, and secure tools and materials for transport
  • Apply proper rigging and securement techniques
  • Follow all safety standards to prevent damage or injury
  • Assist with light documentation and delivery tracking
  • Support vendor coordination and special warehouse projects
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with construction materials and small tools used in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing environments
  • Ability to safely load and unload heavy tools and materials
  • Professional, team-oriented, and customer-service mindset
  • Forklift operation experience or ability to become certified
  • Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination for safe driving
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • CDL may be required depending on delivery vehicle type
  • Medical card required for operating applicable vehicles
  • Forklift certification preferred (or obtained after hire)

  • Complete inventory forms and inventory transactions in JDE
  • Use barcode scanners for inventory control
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Assist Engineering with equipment movement
  • Responsible for ensuring all logistical cGMP regulations are met and adhered to
