The Logistics Coordinator will be the "heartbeat" of our supply chain operations in Terrebonne . You will be responsible for the seamless movement of goods, from coordinating with local carriers to managing international documentation. Your primary goal is to ensure that products are shipped and received on schedule while optimizing costs and maintaining 100% inventory accuracy.
Job Responsibility:
Shipment Coordination: Organize and monitor the movement of products via road (local/transborder), air, or sea
Carrier Relations: Negotiate rates and schedule pickups with carriers, ensuring compliance with delivery windows
Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and verify essential documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL), customs invoices (FOB, CIF, DDP), and packing slips
Inventory Management: Track stock levels using ERP/TMS software to prevent shortages and minimize overstocks
Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact to resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies with suppliers and carriers
Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse, production, and sales teams to align logistics schedules with business goals
Requirements:
College diploma (DEC) in Transportation Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination or warehouse operations
Bilingualism (French and English) is essential for communicating with local drivers and international partners
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Logistics Management Systems (LMS) or SAP
Nice to have:
CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) or a Forklift License is considered a significant asset
