Logistics Coordinator

• Manage coordination with trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of shipments
• Process and take orders efficiently, verifying accuracy and completeness
• Monitor order progress and proactively address any delays or issues
• Collaborate with commercial and accounting teams to align logistics operations with business goals
• Oversee office tasks such as ordering supplies and planning occasional events
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and related documentation
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including customs processes
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track data, create reports, and analyze logistics performance
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to optimize logistics processes
• Contribute to improving overall efficiency in logistics and distribution operations

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field
• Familiarity with trucking logistics or chemical logistics is a plus, but not mandatory
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and external partners
• Knowledge of shipping functions and customs procedures
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
