Job Description

Trucking company running for over 35 years is looking for a dispatcher. Our client specializes in shipping solutions and the expertise to make sure that clients freight arrives at the destination on time and in good order.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordination and optimizing delivery schedules
  • Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments for drivers
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Updating customer web portables with up-to-date information on deliveries
  • Responding to email and phone for freight requests
  • Ensure all billing and driver information is accurate
  • Handles controlled temperature and FTL shipments

Requirements

  • Solid communication skills verbal and written English & French
  • Minimum of one year experience in the transportation(trucking) industry
  • Knowledge of FTL and reefers are an asset
  • Self-motivated, assertive with the ability to function independently
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in transportation industry
