Logistics Coordinator

• Handling high telephone call volumes in a courteous, efficient manner
• Working with carriers and drivers to monitor loading, unloading, and the time management of freight transit
• Assist Fleet Managers in communication and updates required to customers
• Performing data entry accurately maintaining up-to-date information in the Transportation Management System and record management system
• Develop long-term relationships with drivers by providing them with excellent customer service
• Proactively identify and solve issues with Logistics Account Managers and Fleet Managers
• Perform other job-related duties as directed by the Fleet Manager

• High levels of organization, written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent computer skills
• The ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team
• Work experience in customer-facing roles from the following industries is welcomed and appreciated: hospitality, administration, retail, and/or the trucking and logistics industry is an asset
