Logistics coordinator

• Coordinating temperature-controlled ocean import shipments into North America from various international sources, with a strong focus on suppliers in Latin America
• Proactively resolving issues within the supply chain, particularly with ocean carriers, forwarders, and suppliers
• Contributing to the overall success of the company through efficient and effective logistics management
• Assisting with other tasks as needed to support team objectives

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• 4-5 years of experience in first-mile logistics is required
• Exceptional communication skills across various platforms
• Creative problem-solving abilities
• Strong prioritization skills
• Assertiveness when necessary
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Exceptional organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail
• Highly independent, with the ability to take initiative
• Strong understanding of import trade flows and processes

• Experience managing relationships with ocean carriers and overseeing freight procurement
• Able to perform well under pressure
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Comfortable with technology, including online platforms and EDI systems

Prior experience in SAPB1 an asset
