Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination of supply orders, and supporting administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in Excel and a strong understanding of logistics processes.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate distribution of goods
Manage supply orders, including tracking inventory levels and placing replenishment requests
Perform administrative tasks to support the logistics and finance teams
Utilize enterprise finance software to manage and document logistics-related activities
Prepare and analyze reports using Excel to monitor logistics performance and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and resolve operational challenges
Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and orders
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm schedules and address any discrepancies
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all logistics activities

Requirements:

Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
Familiarity with finance enterprise software systems
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with suppliers and team members
Detail-oriented approach to managing records and tracking shipments
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and resolve operational issues efficiently
Legally authorized to work in the United States
