Job Description:

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced logistics and freight forwarding team in Colnbrook. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for ensuring the smooth movement of goods across the UK and internationally.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange transport and resolve any issues
Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery notes
Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients and internal teams
Maintain accurate records in logistics and warehouse management systems
Support customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to manage stock and dispatch schedules
Handle customer queries and provide excellent service throughout the logistics process

Requirements:

Previous experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain role
Strong understanding of shipping documentation and customs procedures
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Nice to have:

Experience with air freight and international shipping
Knowledge of import/export regulations and Incoterms
