Logistics Coordinator

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the end-to-end operational requirements of the transport task
• Ensure capacity management is provided as defined by customer agreements
• Liaise with operators and all other relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding capacity plans, scheduling, approvals and infrastructure works for the purpose of maximising capacity
• Ensure all haulage and heavy equipment activities occurring within the operational areas are performed with a high degree of customer service in a directive on Coordination Plans
• Maintain Aurizon performance reporting for the precinct ensuring Customer obligations are achieved
• Supervise and assist local incident management and undertake investigations as they arise within the operational environments
• Ensure that all work performed complies with all regulatory responsibilities

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working in a logistics environment
• High level of skill in supervising transport operations
• Experience in the transport of Dangerous Goods
• Extensive knowledge of the Safety Management System and standards
• Substantial skill in planning day of operation activities
• Substantial communication, interpersonal, consultation and conflict resolution skills
• Substantial skills in the use of information technology and systems, focussing on monitoring, recording and reporting systems, utilised within the precinct environment
• Previous line leadership experience in a large-scale logistics or heavy industrial organisation
