Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Knightdale, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in logistics and distribution to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating shipping operations and logistics processes to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Organize and oversee travel for technicians on assignment
  • Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation and distribution activities
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with teams to optimize supply chain processes
  • Communicate with vendors and customers to arrange travel and shipments
  • Utilize SAP and other systems to track shipments and manage logistics data
  • Resolve issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or other logistical challenges
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for shipping and logistics activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve workflows
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all logistics activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution processes
  • Proficiency in using SAP or similar software for logistics management
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams
  • Familiarity with shipping functions and travel arrangements
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to shipping and logistics operations
