We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipping and distribution activities in Andover, Massachusetts. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple logistics tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position will begin on a part-time schedule of approximately 16 to 32 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a longer-term role based on business needs and performance.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate outgoing shipments and track deliveries to help ensure materials reach their destinations on time
Maintain accurate logistics records and update shipment information using spreadsheets and internal tracking tools
Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve shipping questions and support smooth distribution operations
Assist with customs-related documentation and related shipping paperwork for domestic and international movements
Monitor logistics activity and identify issues that may affect scheduling, routing, or delivery performance
Support day-to-day shipping functions, including document preparation, status follow-up, and order-related coordination
Contribute to operational process updates, including adjustments tied to internal logistics or system changes when needed.
Requirements:
Experience supporting logistics, shipping, distribution, or transportation operations
Working knowledge of shipment coordination and day-to-day shipping procedures
Familiarity with customs documentation and related compliance processes is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, organizing, and maintaining operational data
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately
Clear communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners
Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule ranging from 16 to 32 hours per week.
