Job Description:

Robert Half has partnered with our client in Beavercreek who is looking for a logistics coordinator to join their team for a contract to permanent position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily logistics, transportation, shipping, receiving, and distribution activities
  • Manage inventory flow to ensure materials and finished goods are available to meet operational demands
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to maintain efficient supply chain performance
  • Monitor shipping schedules and resolve delays, shortages, or transportation issues
  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, reduce costs, and improve service levels
  • Develop and maintain logistics procedures that support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation requirements
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and strengthen supply chain performance
  • Prepare reports on logistics metrics, inventory movement, and delivery performance
  • Support cross-functional communication to align logistics operations with production and customer needs

Requirements:

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or distribution management
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and vendor coordination
  • Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, or transportation software
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead operations in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools
