Job Description:

Our client, a well-established and award-winning organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for managing complex logistics operations.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and approve transport invoices for both exports and imports
Manage goods-in processes, including updating stock systems and coordinating with accounts
Maintain schedules and calendars for all stock movements
Verify supplier documentation against purchase contracts and liaise with accounts for clearance
Execute import clearances and resolve any issues to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate with internal and external warehouses to book and track deliveries
Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders and agents to secure competitive rates
Create export documentation and organise cost-effective freight solutions
Monitor container and truck movements using tracking systems
Support the contracts team with ad-hoc tasks and cost analysis

Requirements:

Previous experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Proficient in using stock management systems and Microsoft Office
Effective communicator with the ability to liaise across departments and with external partners
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
