As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the daily dock schedule and the yard inventory. You will work with leaders to ensure timely and accurate loading of inbound and outbound products, as well as providing loading information and completing paperwork. The schedule for this position is 2nd shift. (1:00pm – 9:00pm CST)
Job Responsibility:
Utilize various information system tools to prioritize and manage loading and unloading workload
Coordinate dock operations, including dock door assignment and trailer spotting, to maximize dock capacity and ensure proper workload sequencing
Assign loading and unloading work to forklift operators, highlighting any special customer packaging, loading platforms, or inventory requirements
Monitor the status of inter-plant replenishment orders to ensure timely arrival of needed product
Print pick lists, review completed pick lists for accuracy and completeness and enter order adjustments and shipping paperwork
Provide systems technical assistance to forklift operators and data stewards, resolving any WMS exceptions, RF problems, inventory and location variances, and other situations that arise
Assist Manager and Team Leaders in documenting procedures, training new hires, and evaluating the performance of team personnel
Perform warehouse office clerical functions and other duties as assigned, including running and printing production reports, routine queries, filing, copying, etc
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years’ clerical and/or production experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, military, or related environment
