We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a contract to hire basis in Rancho Dominguez, California. In this role, you will oversee the efficient movement, tracking, and management of goods within a warehouse environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibility:
Organize and manage routing processes for large retail shipments
Print shipping labels and provide clear instructions for warehouse operations
Coordinate with third-party teams to ensure accurate and timely shipment of purchase orders
Schedule and communicate effectively with carriers to meet delivery deadlines
Monitor and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels
Ensure compliance with vendor regulations and guidelines
Repack goods as necessary, including customer samples
Assist with additional warehouse tasks during peak seasons, including overtime when required
Perform other duties as needed, such as maintaining cleanliness and organization in shared spaces
Requirements:
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Proven experience working in a team environment with leadership capabilities
Effective communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Outlook
Familiarity with routing processes and customer service in logistics
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks
Advanced skills in Excel for data management and reporting
Prior experience with 3PL operations and vendor compliance
Nice to have:
Knowledge of warehouse systems and logistics software is a plus
