Job Description:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Weston, Florida. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing the movement of goods and ensuring a seamless sales order process from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong follow-through, and the ability to maintain accurate records while optimizing logistics operations.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the complete lifecycle of sales orders, from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient processing
Plan and coordinate delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectations
Schedule and communicate pickups and deliveries with trucking partners to ensure accurate and reliable transportation
Provide exceptional customer service by collaborating with the sales team and addressing client inquiries
Monitor order progress, ensuring timely pickups, deliveries, and resolution of any issues that arise
Coordinate with cold storage facilities to release products and confirm availability for shipment
Track and maintain detailed shipment records, resolving any logistical delays or complications
Submit finalized shipment data and order details to accounting for further processing
Input and update logistics information accurately within company systems to maintain data integrity

Requirements:

Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and with clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple orders simultaneously
Familiarity with shipping functions, customs procedures, and distribution processes
Ability to follow through on tasks and ensure all steps of the logistics process are completed
Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills to maintain accurate records
Tech-savvy and comfortable working with logistics management systems
