We are seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with dangerous goods regulations, and supporting day-to-day logistics activities to meet operational and customer requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse teams, freight providers, and internal departments to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant logistics processes
Job Responsibility
Coordinate daily logistics activities for inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
Support shipping operations across air, sea, and road freight channels
Monitor shipment schedules and escalate delays or issues where required
Prepare and check dangerous goods documentation, labelling, packaging, and shipping paperwork
Ensure hazardous materials are handled and stored according to company and regulatory requirements
Work closely with production, warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams to support operational requirements
Assist in resolving transportation and delivery issues in a timely manner
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs
Follow established logistics procedures and contribute to process improvements
Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers regarding shipment bookings and tracking
Update ERP and logistics systems accurately to maintain shipment and inventory records
Ensure shipping documentation is completed accurately and on time
Requirements
Good understanding of shipping documentation, customs processes, and transport regulations
Experience using ERP systems and logistics platforms (SAP, Oracle, TMS/WMS preferred)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Good attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
Experience working with freight forwarders and international shipments
Nice to have
Minimum 2–3 years of logistics experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Knowledge of ADR or other hazardous goods transport regulations
