Logistics Coordinator

• Manage end-to-end logistics needs for the clients shipment requests for over-the-road LTL and FTL cross-border and inter-Canada shipments
• Manage the relations with transporter companies
• Plan and coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules
• Track and report shipment status to customers
• Answer to quotes and rates requests, using negotiation skills for best profit margins
• Maintain positive relationships with all customers, clients, carriers and internal staff
• Stay on-top of delivery statuses, track and trace, proactively communicate update with customers
• Ensure that freight paperwork is completed and approved before transportation

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the trucking industry
• Experience with 3PL
• Bilingual French and English is required
• Dynamic, multitasking, sense of urgency, team player
• Strong communication, organization skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of computer system and Truckmate and Loadlink (Asset)
