Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Logistics Co-Ordinator to join this modern office in the centre of Kingston. With a huge opportunity to really progress within the team, this is one you do not want to miss!

Job Responsibility

  • Organise and oversee the daily operations of shipping functions, with a focus on cargo handling
  • Ensure accurate booking of stock and maintain systems to guarantee availability for despatch
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders for seamless import and delivery processes
  • Prepare and raise stock and non-stock invoices, along with related documentation
  • Issue Delivery Instructions and manage necessary controls
  • Maintain shipping records and files
  • check and approve shipping invoices
  • Complete Customs and Excise documents as needed
  • Control stock records, movements, and conduct monthly stock checks
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock on an annual basis
  • Reconcile warehouse and consignment stock with Stock Lists and Usage Reports

Requirements

  • Experience in logistics or degree qualified or equivalent
  • Proactive individual with a keen eye for detail
  • Friendly and self-motivated

Nice to have

Knowledge of Incoterms is desirable
