We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. In this short-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in managing shipping operations and ensuring the accuracy of export documentation. Job Responsibility:
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Prepare and manage export documentation in compliance with international regulations
Handle logistics tasks, including scheduling shipments and tracking deliveries
Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate records and generate reports
Communicate with customers and vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols during shipping operations
Collaborate with internal departments to optimize logistics processes
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient stock management
Review and verify shipping documentation for accuracy before submission
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of office-based experience in customer service or logistics
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems
Familiarity with export and import documentation processes
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication abilities for interacting with clients and vendors
Knowledge of shipping and receiving functions within the logistics industry
Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with regulations
Experience handling export shipments and international logistics
