Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Wichita, Kansas. In this role, you will handle essential regulatory recordkeeping tasks and support customs reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possess strong organizational and administrative skills.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain accurate regulatory documentation through both physical and electronic filing systems
Execute customs reconciliation processes, ensuring timely submission of required forms and compliance with regulations
Compile and organize annual data such as income statements, material costs, customs database information, and other relevant records
Process and submit forms for customs reconciliation to prevent penalties and ensure compliance with mandatory deadlines
Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather reports and data from brokers, trade activity requests, freight costs, and invoicing information
Monitor and manage recordkeeping systems to ensure accessibility and accuracy
Support shipping and receiving tasks to facilitate efficient logistics operations
Perform scanning and e-filing tasks to maintain organized and secure document storage
Assist in the preparation and review of import/export documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards
Coordinate with team members to address any discrepancies or issues related to logistics processes

Requirements:

Previous experience in logistics or shipping and receiving roles
Proficiency in data entry and document scanning
Familiarity with e-filing systems and electronic recordkeeping
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of customs reconciliation processes and regulatory requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in handling shipping functions and logistics operations
