Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk with international shipping experience to support daily transportation, documentation, and supply chain operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and understands the complexities of global shipping procedures.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate domestic and international shipments from origin to final delivery
Prepare and process shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and international trade requirements
Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, vendors, and internal teams to track shipments and resolve issues
Monitor shipment schedules and provide updates on delivery status
Maintain accurate inventory, logistics, and shipping records in company systems
Assist with carrier selection, rate comparisons, and cost tracking
Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damaged goods
Support warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Logistics Clerk, Shipping Clerk, or similar role
Hands-on experience with international shipping and import/export documentation
Knowledge of customs regulations, freight forwarding, and global transportation processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
