Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team in Irwindale, California. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within the high-tech electronics industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude, ensuring the smooth handling of shipping and logistics operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in documentation and adherence to company protocols
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate shipping records and inventory management
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring items are securely packed and labeled
  • Coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve transportation issues
  • Handle light administrative paperwork related to shipping and receiving processes
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics workflows
  • Monitor the condition of packaging materials and request replenishment when necessary
  • Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders on delivery statuses
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping and logistics or related fields
  • Proficiency in handling shipping documentation and coordinating logistics processes
  • Familiarity with packaging materials and distribution procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols
  • Comfortable working in a casual dress code environment
